# University of Massachusetts cloud analytics transformation

> The University of Massachusetts worked with Pythian to replace aging on-premise Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition infrastructure with Oracle Analytics Cloud. A proof of concept, automated regression testing, secure links to the university’s on-premise data warehouse, and role-specific training enabled a two-phase adoption with no disruption to ongoing operations. The result was broader self-service reporting for university staff and improved services supporting more than 70,000 students.
