# Aras Corporation

> Aras Corporation makes Aras Innovator, an enterprise product lifecycle management platform that connects requirements, bills of materials, CAD documents, quality records, manufacturing plans, service data, and the changes between them. Its signature move was commercial as much as technical: after seven years of slow growth under conventional licensing, founder Peter Schroer removed the up-front software fee and sold enterprise subscriptions, support, upgrades, cloud delivery, and expertise instead. Today manufacturers including Airbus, Microsoft, Honda, DENSO, Kawasaki, and Red Bull use the platform to build adaptable digital threads around complex products.
